Because it is a black box, which does not offer the possibility to
verify anything.

You are arguing in an empty space that is contradicted by the
reality of the existence of for example ARC.

The question is not "why", but the question is "how": how to
properly deal with the reality: the desire to automatize trust
processing, and policy application.

And: being able to bring in the human factor as an optional
verifier into this automatism, isn't that a positive development
by itself?
