It's possible that equivalent macros are available for current PL/I; there are definitely macros for entry, exit and condition handling; what I'm not sure about are the control block mappings for, e.g., DCLCB, FCB.
IAC, it's certainly possible to separate out the [BQ]SAM code from the PL/I support and upgrade it for the current DFSMSdfp. Looking like part of the language isn't that simple; how do you locate the DCB? -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) None of the PLI* or IBMB* macros appear to be extant. I'd think that a more generic version that provided GET/PUT routines would be feasible. And with the miracle of the pre-processor, it can still look like part of the language. sas On Wed, May 1, 2019 at 2:22 PM Seymour J Metz <sme...@gmu.edu> wrote: > Is there anyone willing to bring > http://mason.gmu.edu/~smetz3/source/STOWBLDL.ASM up to date? > > > -- > Shmuel (Seymour J.)
