How about something even better: per business transaction/event/task pricing? IBM offers that pricing option with IBM Financial Transaction Manager for z/OS. FTM is an extremely popular payments solution, and FTM customers now have the option to pay for the software based on the number of actual payments handled. Not something techie-geek like CPU-seconds or MSUs but rather on actual payments, what the business users and managers care about. "Talk to your friendly IBM representative" if you're interested in that pricing option. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy Sipples IT Architect Executive, Industry Solutions, IBM z Systems, AP/GCG/MEA E-Mail: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
