I may have missed something, but I understand, firstly the data does not even arrive completely on the Linux, and secondly this is probably HTTP/HTTPS data transfer since you mention "via webpage". It seems to me FTP is not yet involved, but a browser on the client and an HTTP server on the Linux side. If so, have a look a the the various HTTP server log file; the should be at leas some kind of error log. If feasible, I would inspect the TCP/IP traffic using Wireshark on the client sending the data. If this is HTTPS you won't see much of the data but you might find other hints.
