There was no big rush (smile).
We're not thinking of volume size related changes in ServerPac that I
know about. We are thinking about a larger volume size for the
Customized Offerings Driver (COD) system, though, as it's getting tough
to keep it on 3390-3 size volumes.
I like to (try to) ask more general questions when possible so that I
get a better view of "what's out there" than I'd get if I were more
specific. Also, that way I can usually get by with fewer questions!

Are you asking because you are considering a ServerPac change?
We can carve out any size volume we need to, including EAV, though our Storage team
prefers to keep to "standard" sizes (excepting EAV). We use and will likely
retain m1 for Jes2 Checkpoint and Couple DS. m9 will be used for some system volumes
(page, spool) on our small systems. We use m27 for SYSRES and DLIB today and will
continue to do so until z/OS outgrows them. We use 2 m54 for SMP/E and other
installation data, which we may eventually consolidate onto EAV.
