The first version of LLA (Linklist Look Asid) managed Linkist only. The next version also managed user libraries and was renamed to Library Look Aside, luckily keeping the same abbreviation.

[My ISP is having problems and I'm tired of forced inheritance.] I remembered something about named LNKLST from years ago -- memory foggy as to POK or some other outlet. Never had to deal with it on development systems that I was responsible for. So, let's forget I mentioned it. Now I work for a company where cost cutting is forced on us by rule of law (ACA for one). And as I said, my brain was rebelling at LLA being Library Look Aside. So I am now preparing a proposal to make more use of LLA/VLF.
