Paul, Thank you for taking the time to identify specific changes you would like to see.
I think many of the changes fit into the "can do" category :-). Of the remainder I would say there is a mix of items that I would say are outside the scope (e.g. changes to TSO SUBMIT, etc.), which your comments indicate you already recognize, and some that fall into the "boiling the ocean" category (e.g. allowing UNIX directories in STEPLIB, etc.) :-( If you would like I can provide a more detailed response for each specific change you have identified but I would prefer to merge this into the other thread I started (Subject: JCL - What is it and what could it be ?) just to try to keep things together in one place.
