Characteristic IBM under reaching. They have a good idea then
neglect to generalize it.
My English is poor, but I wrote "ibm WANTED to fix it".
Besides poor ISAM there were plans to replace all other dataset types
with VSAM subtypes.
Did they achieved the goal? We know it.
BTW: I really want some defaults, like BLKSIZE=32760 for RECFM=U and
more general - 3390 track.
Just default.
