We drug 10 years out of a z9. Last several years, it would have been cheaper 
(hardware maintenance and z/OS license charges) to upgrade to current model 
minus 1 or even current model.

But, the mainframe was going away..... Our 5 year contract with a MFaaS site 
runs out in October and it is looking like we will not be running z/OS after 
that.
