Ed et al, My own experience with MacKinney was significantly different. Two years ago, we were looking at migrating our CICS apps to Micro Focus COBOL. But we are very dependent on a MacKinney product called EZHELP. For many months we worked with MacKinney to port the EZHELP source code from ASM to Micro Focus COBOL! A colleague here at DHS did most of the work with a little help from myself. Throughout this process we received excellent support from Wendell at MacKinney. It was painful, but in the end we succeeded in completing the port. Unfortunately, the migration of the rest of our apps failed since Micro Focus could not handle other aspects of our application. So I only have positive things to report about this company.
