The only solution isn't to host your website in China. I'm assuming your site hasn't specifically been targeted for blocking.
A couple of ideas: 1. Has anyone tested whether applications hosted in the EU zone have the same problems as those hosted in the US? 2. Has using the SSH add-on solved the problem? Can plain HTTP also use the IP address provided by the add-on? I'd be curious about other developers experience of latency in Asia when connecting to sites hosted in the US and EU.
