Did not hear from anybody at CFEngine yet.

Could you please clarify why CFEngine considers
running the process_stop command "/etc/init.d/service stop"
a promise kept rather than as a promise repaired?

Here is the promise:

    process:  "regex"  process_stop => "/etc/init.d/service stop";

cf-agent makes a change system (running the process_stop
command to get rid of the process). Why is that considered a
promise kept rather than a promise repaired?

I suspect it has something to do with commands type promises
and convergence but I don't understand it yet.

Neil Watson (CCC) said he'd like to know the answer to this, too, please.

Thanks very much,
Aleksey
