> I experienced the same issue running on Solaris 10, cfengine v3.0.5p1. > Any luck in finding out? Deb & Jim, I've opened a bug report on this issue if you want to keep track and/or chime in. https://cfengine.com/bugtracker/view.php?id=445
Deb - I don't know if Nova (which is what I think you use) defaults to using Tokyocabinet but my last seen database is cf_lastseen.db. There is also a "lastseen" directory in /var/cfengine though mine is empty. That your were continuing to see old lastseen information suggests you either hit the wrong file or there was a lingering cf-serverd process that was keeping an open file handle on the file you thought you removed. Anecdotally, I've noticed cfengine seems to update the db only periodically. Doing a looping stat of the lastseen db file shows modification only happening every few minutes though there is constant load on the system from client access. After I removed my lastseen database there was only an entry for the master for some time. When I checked the next day it had populated again. _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list Help-cfengine@cfengine.org https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
