Mike, that makes sense. I'm sorry if I started out being too much of a devil's advocate. I am also frustrated with (perhaps) the same experience on SLES11: cf-serverd segfaults while handling many concurrent connections. It is troublesome to run cf-serverd attached to gdb just to capture the backtrace waiting for the segfault to happen.
