Here's something I had not seen before. I had a cron job kill cf-serverd and cf-monitord at 4:10am today. There is a cron job that runs cf-execd every 20 minutes on the 20 so both processes should have been restarted at 4:20am. The cf-monitord process had a time stamp of 4:21am but the cf-serverd had a time stamp of 7:21am. When I checked the logs all I found were messages like this: kernel: cf-serverd[22368] general protection rip:3adfc79480 rsp:407fcae8 error:0 One for each attempt at starting cf-serverd. This is my policy server so I also received email from all the clients because they were unable to connect to the policy server for a couple of hours.
