I left OS X binary, simply because it's so much 
easier to build it on users' actual systems, be 
it PPC, Leopard, SL, Intel 32, Intel 64, cland, 
whatever user prefers.

Same goes for rest of *nix systems.

Usually such build job is up to packagers.
