At last, a delayed test :-) Based in Pritpal Bedi guide, I made same tests with few changes:
- OS/2 as server, using gcc433 - Tests in LAN and Internet netserver.prg and netapplctn.prg only contain change to use port 2941 netserver_os2.exe is running in \mydata client was tested with winXP+watcom LAN: === Response is fast, there are not delay opening files Work very well Internet: ======== Response are slow, as expected 120 seconds to create, fill and index file 50 seconds to browse You can test it on Internet, I will leave running netserver_os2.exe for a short time (128 Kbits bandwidth) From your prefered environment, use: netapplctn 189.162.70.97 2941 First people in test will create files :-) David Macias _______________________________________________ Harbour mailing list Harbour@harbour-project.org http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour
