I didn't say letodb was fully copied, I said it copies parts
also from letodb, specifically the IP stack, which we already
have one in Harbour (actually an almost identical copy).

Thus it needs to duplicate all RDD code. This means double
maintenance, double code size and double build time.
No, only needs to modify filebuf.c to redirect to remote server
when the (future) session of rdd will have informed pSocket connection.
It's also not clear what extra benefits this implementation
gives over LetoDB?
