only temporary, is not decided yet.
The rest is copy paste from letodb code, existing RDDs
and file handling routines with modifications.
is not a copy of letodb, letodb is an rdd, and File Remote server
I didn't say letodb was fully copied, I said it copies parts
also from letodb, specifically the IP stack, which we already
have one in Harbour (actually an almost identical copy).
only changes API hb_file* by hb_filenet* for existing rdds.
Thus it needs to duplicate all RDD code. This means double
maintenance, double code size and double build time.
To avoid all these problems we should rather go the way
Przemek wrote in his answer, which is also part of our TODO.
It's also not clear what extra benefits this implementation
gives over LetoDB?
[ Slightly off, but your work, HBBMCDX is still sitting there
as a full copy of DBFCDX, and wasn't converted to a proper RDD
layer since long. ]
