Hi All, I've already marked current build as beta2, but IMO it would much better to make the release process faster and release RC1 instead. The code is ready for it.
I'd like to ask developers to push any new code to the repository *this week*, or alternatively signal to the list that there is no such code pending to allow us for a quicker release. After this short period we're going into a feature lock and only fixes are allowed to be committed. All developers are appreciated to make local builds on all platforms / compilers and report any testing results to the list with current SVN. IMPORTANT: The new release also needs *team work* to make tests on all supported by us platforms to keep our quality standards.
