Thank you, this is all new to me after digging knee
deep into two make systems since long.

I hope he can help where needed, but since I don't intend
to remove any functionality, we won't lose a single bit of
his work.

We will see. You had similar requests for contribs too, amongst
others, and if we had stuck to it, we'd still have most contribs
broken, without a equal support on all platforms and largely
untested, targeted for a future version. To me it seems it's all
about your distrust towards my work, so I invite you to point to
specific problems. In case of any problems we have our SVN
there to help, so we revert if I happen to mess up everything.
