I've found that these lines can be a good start:
GTInfo(GTI_FONTNAME, cName)
GTInfo(GTI_FONTSIZE, nSize)
GTInfo(GTI_FONTWIDTH, int(nSize/2))
with these using Courier and Lucida Console I can get 48 rows and 140
cols using size 14.
