may I suggest to stop the discussion here on whether we should or should not leave GNU, and in particular not cc Richard Stallman on a non-issue? As far as I can tell, you brought up this "maybe Guix will leave GNU" question out of the blue; there is currently no motion to do so.
Excuse me, but it was the subject of a note in Guix Days. And a lot of Guix devs are on the gnu.tools site and/or anti-Stallman letters. I think the issue very much is.
