You are right, of course.  Indeed Guix would better now include a
package even if the packaging is not ideal.

Thank you not only for the mighty G-Golf but also, by the way, for your
patch to allow Guile-Cairo to run its tests.  The patch has not reached
upstream, but with it, the Guile-Cairo commit needed by examples can
build in Guix.

No, as a requirement --no-grafts is not documented, just arcane
knowledge in Debbugs.  The option can be found in `guix build --help'.

Yes, I guess grafts could be patched in using (with-parameters ((%graft?
#f)) ...), but strangely the hello-world in the package runs fine even
with grafts.  I do not understand why it affects me elsewhere.
