Yes. Apparently -fno-stack-protector doesn't actually work the way I/we would expect. But, I'm surprised that this doesn't affect the building of NetBSD's own 'stand' code. FWIW, the pkgsrc-wip package just patches in a dummy function. patch-ag and patch-ah. Aside from those patches it built pretty much out-of-the-checkout for me.
