This doesn't really have anything in particular to do with mom, except insofar as, perhaps, mom's users are more likely to be demanding in the font department. We've had a hard time getting this task over the finish line; we've had volunteers over the years but so far no patches. My inclination for groff 1.24 is to add the script into an "install-font" subdirectory of "contrib/", have a groff build install it to an "examples/" directory, and refer to it from the gropdf(1) and grops(1) man pages. The problem I'm more keen to solve personally is to provide a non-interactive script that distributions can use in their package "maintainer" or "trigger" scripts to refresh groff's idea of which fonts are installed. Properly testing such a thing is not my idea of "fun", which is why I've put it off. (Expressed demand has also been lacking.) Regards, Branden
