After all as a work around, I set the annotation's opacity to 0 when they
is more than 30 columns. This worked great, however some of my users
complaint it didn't worked on IE8. The annotations are not transparent on
IE8. Is it just a bug or does IE8 not support changing the opacity for
text? If it's a problem with IE is there any work around to hide the
annotations?

Thanks in advance
