Let me summarize the situation. I recently discovered that iCloud Drive had ceased synchronizing.
I did several tests, and finally I found that synchronization with iCloud stopped when it tried to synchronize gnucash files created with the latest version of gnucash. I know it is weird. If I report this problem to Apple, they are likely to ask me to check with gnucash. Is there any difference in file format between versions 5.16 and 5.17? Is there something else I should test? > Le 26 oct. 2026 à 10:58, John Ralls <[email protected]> a écrit : > > > Please remember to copy the list on all replies. > > Start with I loud isn’t a backup service, it’s a sync service. > > Gnucash has written the file to your local location(~/Library/mobile > strorage/somewhere) and is done with the file. iCloud failing to upload it is > beyond GnuCash’s control.
