Incredibly great answer!!

My regulator, FINRA, just had me fill out a 35 page Third-Party Vendor Request.  Accounting programs were a nice part of it.  I was most happy to beat the band loudly for GNUCASH.  The support on this website is just inspirational......b³

Wow!!!!! this really works, but you are so right---it is a very ugly baby!!!!!!!!  Can you make as good a suggestion to as easily format it as a pretty Chart of Accounts tree?

Do "pretty printing" OUTSIDE the application. For example, after having exported it into something you can edit. Do this for ALL reports.

There are simply too many possibilities for how end users might want the data displayed to try to include that capability within the app. Would drive developers crazy. Things like "use larger font and/or bold for higher levels of the hierarchy" or "use THIS font", etc.

Anything that will be mailed (in window envelopes) always allow a step before printing that can fine tune placement on the paper << suppliers of window envelopes have been known to slightly change position without notice/change in product code >>
