This is certainly true.  However, there are instances when I have found it 
useful to convey the hierarchical nature of the accounts to others who need to 
understand the system.  The flat list in a csv file is not so helpful there.  
Instead, a report like what is visible in the accounts tab would be helpful.

Is the only way to get a hierarchical representation to use some external, 
probably bespoke, code?
