Bob, 

A note on your comments. While I understand your frustration (believe me-- been 
there!), badmouthing a volunteer team of programmers who have provided this 
software package free of charge--and supported it for nearly 30 years--is 
really not a good look. 

GnuCash has continued to grow and evolve throughout its existence because of 
the dedication of a (remarkably) small group of programmers, and they have made 
the best decisions they could with the resources at hand. That they haven't 
always made the choices that you or I would have is no justification for 
attacking them.
