I run GnuCash on a Windows computer, and printing a report is pretty
easy. Once you have sorted out your Report Options and are ready to
print, do this:
* Main Menu, File, Print Report (shortcut is Ctrl-P)
You can also create a PDF file instead, using:
* Main Menu, File, Export as PDF
I don't have any experience with GnuCash on MAC or Linux, but expect
that printing is fairly similar.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Geoff

PS Thanks for your help. I could never ever have ever found what your
simple, explicit directions directed me to. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT
CODE WRITER'S ARE THINKING WHEN THEY COME UP WITH THEIR SOLUTIONS.
There has to be a simpler way. How many Geoffs do we have to correct
their problems?
*THANK YOU*....b³

Hi Bob
Welcome to the wonderful (and sometimes slightly confusing) world of
GnuCash!

Under "No accounts selected", click on "Edit report options"
This will open a new window with multiple Tabs at the top - click on
the "Accounts" Tab.
Click on the little triangle beside "Assets" in the "Accounts" panel.
Keep clicking these little triangles until you see your Checking Account.
Click on its name - it should show as highlighted.
Next, click on the "General" Tab and review or modify the Start Date
and End Date.
Finally, click on "OK" in the bottom right corner.
Sit back and relax as GnuCash shows you all the transactions in that
account for the selected date range.
Alternative method for viewing transactions in a *single* account:
(1) From the Chart of Accounts home page, open the Account as normal.
(2) From the Reports menu, choose "Accounts Report".
Hope this helps.
Regards
Geoff
