ok.. link is set to /usr/share/slib.. now gnucash runs.. when I choose
either menu, I get:

(gnc:group-get-balance grandchildren):
/home/ep/share/gnucash/scm/report/balance-and-pnl.scm:78:36: Unbound variable:
gnc:group-get-balance
and then gnucash is gone.. :)
