In one message or another, Dave Peticolas said something like this:

I've installed slib2c6 and changed the slib link to
/usr/share/slib.. I even tried recompiling but gnucash keeps spitting
out:

gnucash: [W] "failure loading ""/home/ep/share/gnucash/scm/text-export.scm"
gnucash: [W] "failure loading ""/home/ep/share/gnucash/scm/report/balance-and-pnl.scm"
/home/ep/share/gnucash/scm/path.scm:64:35: While evaluating arguments to
gnc:config-var-value-get in expression (gnc:config-var-value-get gnc:*config-dir*):
/home/ep/share/gnucash/scm/path.scm:64:35: Unbound variable: gnc:*config-dir*
and then it stops loading.. any ideas?
and perhaps configure should check for slib2c6? :)
