Hi Chingis, We all are sure that you are sincere, we just want a confirmation/mail from the current coordinator acknowledging that your work is perfectly fine and that we can push as many translations from you as you keep sending them. Meanwhile we are waiting for that, please, do not stop translating! Once Timur gives us the signal we will start sending the files to git. Don't you worry about that! Keep uploading all translations on l10n.gnome.org so they are not lost ;) You just need to agree with Timur about who should be the coordinator, if he is fine handing it over to you, then it would be better for everyone: you will be able to send all translations and ask for them to being uploaded and we will not have to double check with the current coordinator about the status of the translations. Please do not get frustrated, we try to keep everything as simple as possible, but some double checks are needed to ensure the quality and value of the contributions, just be a little patient ;) Cheers, > On 7/24/12, Andre Klapper <ak...@gmx.net> wrote: > > On Tue, 2012-07-24 at 15:11 +0600, Chingis Jumaliev wrote: > >> Ok, but why so long Timur check my translation? > >> I sent him my translation 7 days ago. > > > > I don't know the specific reasons for this case, but keep in mind that > > people also have reallife jobs that can be time-consuming, or are on > > holidays sometimes, and need to spend some time reviewing the > > translation first before committing it to GNOME's code repository. > > > > If you have not heard back after two or three weeks, I would send a > > friendly email to the language coordinator, asking if everything is fine > > and if you could help in any kind of way to speed up the process a > > little bit. > > > > andre > > -- > > mailto:ak...@gmx.net | failed > > http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper > > > > > _______________________________________________ > gnome-i18n mailing list > gnome-i18n@gnome.org > https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n -- Gil Forcada [ca] guifi.net - una xarxa lliure que no para de créixer [en] guifi.net - a non-stopping free network bloc: http://gil.badall.net planet: http://planet.guifi.net _______________________________________________ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
