I like the idea of using PO, and I have a few extra ideas: - translated means reviewed and OK (for now) - fuzzy means that it is reviewed and needs attention - untranslated means it is unreviewed This will allow any application that gives statistics about translation of PO files (like Damned Lies or pocount) to be used to measure the amount of work left. The advantage of pocount is that it can count words as well, not just messages. I'm not sure what the most useful information would be for putting in the msgstr. One of the advantages of using PO is that it makes it easy to do this, rather than having to do it all in Bugzilla, but I guess it has other advantages to get things into Bugzilla. So putting the suggested correction in might make it easy to give a developer a file with the suggestions and easily fix them all up (since references are in #: comments without having to duplicate all relevant information in Bugzilla.
