It's not that I don't want to learn. What I want to learn may be different from what you want to learn. I'm at the tail end of some experiments with de-noising digital photos from my camera. I've learned a lot about ImageMagick's "convert" command. It is one seriously powerful image manipulation toolset. My next personal project will be learning postgresql. I am familiar with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. I'm not a CS, but at work I do write quite a few read-only queries. We've got Access via ODBC as well, but once you get past the really simple stuff, GUI "Query By Example" runs into a wall.
