see them as prime examples of how fucked up a 'news' web site can be. Just to 
be 'great' they generate a lot of load - for no valuable content whatsoever. 
But they have their readership so either there are billions of idiots out 
there or there is some hidden joke in this mess that I am unable to grasp.
