I'd disagree on that one. If you take that view, there're already too
many variables to do good QA even with binary packages. Equally, I'd
disagree with your assertion that Sun's model is necessarily a good one
-- speaking from experience, it really really sucks when you find out
that you just lost a few TBytes of data thanks to a bug that was already
fixed in a later version.
