Yes, I think it's wise to have some swap. I've got 512MB and I have found that, when swap was accidentally disabled, my system would seize up doing fairly ordinary things (e.g. running KDE, a browser with lots of tabs, and probably one or two other things). -- Robert Persson -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
