Well, this will leave the de-facto path intact for the majority of
users, which sounds great to me.

This path -wont- be available for users that don't have openrc
installed, but then, if all of the tools in portage are converted to
use /lib/gentoo/functions.sh this probably won't matter -- i dont
think many custom script writers using a systemd system will care
about output consistency with openrc anyhow.
