++ One could argue we don't need LICENSE at all since RESTRICT=mirror already tells you something. Gentoo is about choice and this is just one more choice we're giving users. The proposal is a NOOP for anybody who doesn't do anything special, and those who want to use the new flag can do so. It also helps document the state of the tree so that when we look at some ebuild and wonder why it is set to RESTRICT=mirror we have more clues. Rich
