But is it good idea to let developers disable QA checks? Seems that it's better to set QA checks in profile (arch team decision). Of course for overlays only it'll be possible to redefine this. Also speaking about "bad programming practice" seems that it's good to be able to disable them on ebuild basis as some upstreams (e.g. wireshark) are really interested in any compiler warnings and I report such thing for them. -- Peter.
