Do you advocate the 3 Apache Members per Project rule? I think that is a significant difference and I really wonder where Chris came up with that value. I reviewed this page: http://people.apache.org/committers-by-project.html I counted the number of members by incubating project and also TLP / PMCs. Data below. For incubating projects I see from 0 - 14 members. At a glance 3 or 4 is a median value. I know that not all Mentors choose to be on the PPMC. Is there data on Mentors per project? For TLPs I see from 0 - 48 members on PMCs. Many have less than 3. Under Chris's plan many TLPs would not qualify for incubation. I also thought that you were advocating that an iPMC remain to take a role in parallel to comdev, legal, trademarks, pr, and infrastructure without a time limit, but there have been so many emails that it is hard to grasp if you've changed your position. > > Chris and 7 board members are now familiar with the delta, which is > really not up for incubator to choose.
