Would this be moved to the attic?

What is the procedure for updating the Web site etc.? We need to let
outsiders know that they should not depend on this incubator project. (There are tons of really solid incubator projects that others depend on so the theory that "incubating" means don't depend on it is just that, a theory.)

In August 2008, it was discussed that XAP had been inactive for at least
4
months. In November 2008, we again saw issues with XAP and discussed suspension. Having reached, now, February 2009, and still nothing with
XAP,
I am raising this as a vote.

In favor:

      Noel J. Bergman
      Martin Cooper
      Craig L Russell
      Ant Elder
      Martin Dashhorst
      Luciano Resende
      Henning Schmeidehausen
      Eddie O'Neil
      Kevan Miller
      Sanjiva Weerawarana
      Jean T. Anderson
      Richard S. Hall

Opposed:

Robert Burrell Donkin (on technical grounds, not in support of XAP)

Result:

The XAP project is suspended, which simply means that we will take steps to remove the need for oversight. If, in the future, a community wishes to
revive the project, that would be fine.
