"declare the variable; and assign ot it later, somewhere". Remember that
C allows declaration as in the middle of a block only very recently...
I'm not surprised that we found so many constructs already. I suspect
we will find more,
some reported, many unreported.
Sounds like many of them are potential bugs, given this misunderstanding ...
