What do you think about possibly-disruptive testsuite patches? In particular, the patch in http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2009-01/msg01496.html fixes an actual bug on Darwin (testsuite/38562) and cleans up earlier fixes for testsuite/36443. I didn't want to add it to trunk if the branch was imminent, but otherwise would it be OK, since not much is happening in stage 4 and there will apparently be plenty of time to revert it if there are problems?
