I think it is sad because there is a lengthy delay for the release and
for GCC 4.5 development while, at least as far as I can see, the whole
discussion is not relevant for GCC 4.4.  The new license exception is
written to support a plugin infrastructure, right? But that won't be
in GCC 4.4.  So why can't GCC 4.4 ship with the old license?
