According to the MAINTAINERS file, you're doing the right thing by posting to the main list here: "This file contains information about people who are permitted to make changes to various parts of the compiler and associated libraries. Please do not contact the people in this file directly to report problems in GCC. For general information about GCC, please visit: http://gcc.gnu.org To report problems in GCC, please visit: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html"; It also lists Paul Koning as current maintainer of the pdp11 port. As per the request, there's no need to contact him directly, but if you have a solid bug report, file it in bugzilla and he will surely see it.
