David, do you agree? The concern about the malloc patch was whether one could assert the alignment for malloc on all PPC systems or whether it should be limited to GNU/Linux and AIX. It seems that any system that supports VMX, VSX or even SPE should have the correct malloc alignment. Thanks, David
